⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable 5-Star Experience – Truly Exceptional in Every Way Our stay at Glenmorangie House was, without question, one of the finest travel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated, thoughtful, and effortlessly luxurious. We stayed in the Home Suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous—beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It felt both elegant and warm, with every detail clearly considered. Each evening we enjoyed dinner at the house, and it was a true five-star culinary experience—beautifully presented multi-course meals paired perfectly with wine and whiskey, all served in an intimate, refined setting that still felt relaxed and welcoming. One of the highlights of the stay was the cocktail hour before dinner, which gave guests the opportunity to meet one another and share stories in such a lovely atmosphere. It added a special touch that made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. We also participated in a Scotch tasting at the distillery, which was outstanding, and even enjoyed archery on the property with an instructor, which was such a unique and fun experience—something you simply don’t get at most luxury stays. Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond at every turn. Their hospitality was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and they ensured we had everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. Glenmorangie House is the definition of a 5-star experience—elegant, immersive, and unforgettable. We will absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation. Cannot wait to come back again.

Absolutely unforgettable — even better than we expected (and our expectations were high)! Glenmorangie House is a dream. The setting alone is breathtaking — surrounded by the sea, golden barley fields, and a rugged beach (not your typical tanning spot, but stunning all the same). Then there's the house itself: beautifully designed, thoughtful, and welcoming. Each room has a unique connection to Glenmorangie whisky, adding character and meaning to your stay. You truly feel cared for and at peace. The bedrooms are individually styled, incredibly cozy, and feature luxurious bedding that will have you sleeping like a baby. The food — both dinner and breakfast — is excellent. Everything is sourced locally and prepared with care and love. And the staff? Simply incredible. Authentic, professional, warm, and attentive without being overbearing. No snobbishness here — just genuine hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Our advice: book it, go all in, and try everything. You won’t regret it!

I stopped in on a recent day trip and was met with a very warm welcome. Host couldn't have been nicer and I had the opportunity to learn about the history of the house and view the beautiful interior design of the hotel - all based on the whisky making process. Glenmorangie was my first experience of whisky when I started drinking whisky and it was wonderful to make the connection to its home in the Highlands.

A brilliant experience especially given that we timed it for one of their "Whisky Weekends" and all of the special touches throughout 2 days. (The agenda is attached). But before we talk about the building and the food, I MUST talk about the amazing staff. WOW, each and every member of staff we interacted with were (no exaggeration) excellent! You really feel welcomed, comfortable and to use a phrase "at home." We were assigned the "Autumn" room for our bedroom in the main manor house. (Each sleeping room has its own theme) . Quiet room with a lovely view and a big ensuite (with separate tub and shower) The public sitting and dining areas are comfortable and very visually interesting. (Pay close attention to the lighting fixtures). The food, from breakfast to dinner were beautifully thought out and nicely executed. Remember, you're a few miles removed from the actual distillery but that means the setting is rural and serene and only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Truly a wonderful experience.

I can not say enough great things about Glen Morangine house and the absolutely amazing staff. The location is devine. The food is amazing. The thoughtfulness of the staff is heart warming. From the beautiful gift for our wedding to coming in early to see us off to catch our plane, we can't wait to come back and visit again.

By virtue of a previous occupation; I was lucky enough to stay in some of the most exclusive accommodations on a few continents, and my experience at the Glenmorangie House was preferable to all of them. My tastes are very specific, and I prefer lush decor, good food and outdoor activities. All boxes checked here. I had the unique opportunity of being the lone guest, visiting in the off season. I was only sorry that I couldn't share this experience with someone else who would appreciate it as much as I did. The distillery tour was also a genuine treat. Dinner was perfect. Thank you to Charlotte, Robert, Dugie, the Chef and all who contributed to such a magical evening.

I so want to give 5 stars, but I cannot. I loved the house, the grounds and the food. My room was perfect, the dinner was outstanding, and the chef was amazing and friendly. The views from the house were unreal! I would go back, but Im not sure anyone else in my group would. I personally selected 3 rooms inside the house for myself and 2 other couples with the dinner and breakfast package, but when I arrived (a bit early) I was warmly greeted by a staff member who didn't have record of 2 of my 3 rooms. I had paper receipt documentation which I showed her. She said, don't worry, we have room..but 2 rooms were out in the cottages. This wasn't immediately an issue until we realized they lock all of the doors to the house (and you dont get a key)and so I was unable to congregate with my friends after dark, which was very disappointing. The staff seemed to be sparse, albeit friendly. We saw people (non guests) come into the house and ask for drinks and they were waited on promptly, but then staff disappeared. We had to wander around the house looking for someone to show us to our rooms and explain the house protocol for dinner, etc. Pre-dinner canapes and whisky pairing started at 7 = 2 canapes and you may purchase a drink or a whisky. We were asked to pick a wine for the table and then charged by the glass for it at dinner. I know it appears I'm being cheap, but the website promises whisky pairings and tastings, along with dinner and after dinner and this just isn't the case. I felt like I was bothering the staff to ask for a drink or a taste, and then it was added to my room. I believe the potential for perfect 5 stars is here. A story teller at night with the post dinner tea would be so fitting. Some type of Highland feel with a fire in the fireplace. Someone to explain the protocol at arrival and show me the immediate grounds would have been appropriate. I felt like they dropped the ball in a few areas. All that said, my room and my stay were still glorious, and it was a highlight of my trip to northern Scotland.
